So hard to find knowledgeable and honest technicians with integrity! Ben and Truman came to repair an old Generac generator with a failed capacitor. Generac no longer makes the replacement capacitor. This is usually where a conversation about replacing a generator would begin when using a lesser contractor. Sons of Thunder instead identified that our generator has a lot of life left in it and went to work wiring up an alternative to the failed part rather than just pushing for replacement. They spent a lot of time explaining my old generator model to me, what it's future maintenance may look like, and when to think about replacing. 'NOT YET!' being the most important detail about replacement. I appreciate so much the candid honesty, and the willingness to use their brains to safely fix the electronics inside to keep good machinery running rather than go the easy and expensive replacement route. I heard the owner's name when the service techs were working. Jim, you are lucky to have Ben and Truman as your reps. They are great guys, good with nosy customers who want to know what they are doing, and obviously Ben has a ton of electrical knowledge which Truman is luckily getting to sponge up. They are a great team and I appreciate your running a business that is honest and forward-thinking. I am a tough person to get to write a review, but when I find a quality business doing good work with integrity, I gotta tell on them. Thank you Son's of Thunder! Thanks Ben!

Jim was wonderful in communication and servicing of my RV generator Very fair and honest. No doubt should a generator issue ever arise sgain, no doubt who to call. Thanks for great service .

Work in progress. To be competed 12/29/2025 Generator did not exercise on Friday Dec 26... So far excellent
